Michael asks…GPS tracking? My boss gave us new cell phones. How can we tell if the phones have GPS tracking? If it does have GPS tracking can it pinpoint our exact location.admin answers:Just about every cell phone now has GPS capabilities. So if you were just given them, then most likely they are GPS enabled.

Discerning the location depends though. Ive seen some GPS that can locate within a general area, and others that can locate what street corner you are on, so I can't answer that part of the question. Sorry.

In reply to the poster above me.

1. Most phones do have GPS now.
2. I agree, asking the boss or looking it up will 100% answer if it has it
3. Most companies with GPS enabled phones do use uit to track locations of employees that may not be where they need to be. I know this because a close friend of mine is actually the person being paid by his company to look up where people are.
4. And yes, it just shows your location in the area,

Laura asks…Where are GPS tracking devices placed on cars?I think my parents on tracking my car. I am almost 21 years old, pay my own bills and have my own job. I am tired of my parents having something to say about everywhere I go. Can anyone help me find this bug on my car?admin answers:If you parents have fitted one it could be anywhere - try looking under the wheel arches. If it's factory fitted it'll be in the engine block near the onboard computer.William asks…how come people don't install GPS tracking devices in their car in case it is stolen?I remember hearing Hulk Hogan installing a GPS tracker in his daughters car and being able to remotely to shut off her car. That got me thinking if you knew your car was stolen, and you had a GPA tracker installed you could notify the police or remotely shut the car down yourself. Is this possible?admin answers:Have one in my car (although I don't believe it's tied into the engine... It might be... Idk). Doesn't cost that much and

Susan asks…GPS Tracker?I bought a car that had a gps tracker that could shut the car down if I didn't make payments. Could an improperly installed device cause electrical problems? I have to jump the car every time I want to start it because something is draining the battery. We've changed out the battery twice and replaced the alternator. All the fuses are fine. Thoughts?

In addition, the heating/cooling went out at the same time. Could these be related?
Checked the connections many many times. Not even a little bit of corrosion, and they're fully tightened. The batteries are fine when we get them, but when we've taken them back there will be problems with them, like a short or something.admin answers:Have You taken the pos batt. Joseph asks…Which GPS watch is the best for running but inexpensive?I am about to start training for my 3rd marathon and would like to invest in GPS watch to tell me my pace/distance. I know the Garmins are popular, but also expensive. I don't want to buy a watch that has more functions that I need but I do want a reliable watch that won't loose satellite signals easily. Any suggestions on what to buy or not to buy?admin answers:The Garmin Forerunner 205 would be your best bet, you can google it and find it on some online sites for around $150. Don't get any of the older models of Garmin such as the 50 or 201, I've heard they are the ones which lose receiption when in wooded or tree lined areas.Sharon asks…What is the difference in the garmin forerunner 405 and the new 405cx gps watch?I'm looking into purchasing a gps garmin watch. I'm just curious as to what is the difference in the two watches. I have read that people have had some issues with the 405. I didn't know if maybe

At the first feeling of hunger, or 30-45 minutes prior to eating a meal, consume one chew with an 8-ounce glass of water.
