James asks…Does a company have the right to require shoes for crews and make us pay for them?I live in Missouri, the company I work is a pretty large company. First they were not mandatory to have, then they were but we had to pay for them ourselves. Then recently they said that the company would pay up to $40 for shoes each. Now it's only the cocktail servers who get the $40 not everybody else. Can they actually tell us that we have to buy them ourselves? Or we dont work?admin answers:Yes
